About the Journal

Journal of Law and Legal Studies (JLLS) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by PT Cendikia Insani Indonesia. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, lecturers, legal practitioners, policymakers, and students to disseminate original research and scholarly discussions on contemporary legal issues.

Publication Model

JLLS aims to maintain a transparent editorial process, independent peer review, responsible research practices, and equitable access to scholarly knowledge. Editorial Policies 

Peer Review Policy

Naskah yang masuk diperiksa oleh editor untuk menilai kesesuaian dengan fokus jurnal, kebaruan, kelengkapan dokumen, dan kepatuhan terhadap etika publikasi. Naskah yang memenuhi persyaratan awal dapat dikirimkan kepada sekurang-kurangnya dua reviewer independen dengan kompetensi yang relevan. Keputusan publikasi ditetapkan oleh editor berdasarkan hasil penelaahan dan pertimbangan akademik.

Publication Ethics

JLLS mewajibkan penulis menjaga orisinalitas karya, mencantumkan sumber secara benar, memperoleh persetujuan yang diperlukan, dan mengungkapkan konflik kepentingan. Editor dan reviewer wajib menjaga kerahasiaan naskah, menghindari konflik kepentingan, serta mengambil keputusan secara objektif. Dugaan plagiarisme, fabrikasi data, falsifikasi, dan pelanggaran etika ditangani melalui pemeriksaan yang adil dan terdokumentasi.

Pemeriksaan kemiripan naskah,
Semua naskah dapat diperiksa menggunakan perangkat lunak pendeteksi kemiripan. Hasil pemeriksaan tidak menjadi satu-satunya dasar keputusan; editor juga menilai konteks kutipan, atribusi sumber, dan indikasi penggunaan materi tanpa pengakuan yang semestinya. Batas persentase kemiripan harus ditetapkan secara resmi oleh pengelola sebelum dipublikasikan.
